What if everything is intentional?

Blog post

Nothing is intentional from the perspective of the Character.

In the film of ourselves as the Character, we are certainly not choosing the heartbreak, the rejection, the bereavement, the difficult family, the uncertainty, the loss, the health problems, the circumstances it finds itself in.

The idea of intentional choice is preposterous from the perspective of the Character.

Yet the Creator is choosing it all.

And what we are is the Creator.

The intention of the Creator is entertainment, revelation and embodiment.

Every detail of the film of separation is perfectly designed to create an experience that is furthest from the truth (entertainment), to uncover scene by scene the real truth of what we are (revelation) and to allow that truth to be lived in every aspect of being (embodiment).

Knowing this changes everything.

The difficult person is no longer an accident in the film. The repeating pattern is no longer evidence that there is something wrong with me. The body’s reaction is not a problem to overcome. Even the Character’s resistance, fury, fear and desperation are part of the design.

The Creator intentionally creates it all.

And it keeps creating the film for as long as there is more truth to be seen, felt and embodied through this particular body-mind.

Which means the question changes.

Instead of Why is this happening to me?

It becomes:

Why am I creating this?

What is this exact scene making visible?

What can be recognised here that could not be recognised without it?

What is this body being invited to discover, embody and express?

From the perspective of the Character, life can look chaotic, unfair and deeply personal.

From the perspective of the Creator, nothing is out of place.

The casting is perfect.

The timing is perfect.

The repetition is perfect.

Even the Character appearing exactly as it does is perfect.

There is no mistake to correct.

There is only the extraordinary intimacy of discovering the intention behind what is already here.
